OUT4BADMINTON is a growing network of badminton players around Ireland.
Badminton is one of Ireland's most popular participative sports with hundreds of clubs in many cities, towns and villages.
OUT4BADMINTON was set up to 'network' gay and lesbian players and their friends who are already playing badminton in their own clubs or informally as part of social groups. In addition, OUT4BADMINTON has its own regular sessions to encourage people to return to play badminton or to try the sport for the first time. There is a great social element to it all as well!
For players who enjoy playing more regularly, we aim to introduce them to clubs in their own area where there may be other OUT4BADMINTON players.
We also promote participation in GLBT tournaments around Europe and you can see the latest events in the Events Diary.
OUT4BADMINTON is connected with groups in Cork and Dublin as well as individual players elsewhere around the country and in Northern Ireland.
